While you can certainly find factories on platforms like Alibaba, communication gaps, time zone differences, and quality risks often lead to costly mistakes. My commission covers local expertise, quality control, and risk management. I pre-screen suppliers, negotiate better terms, and physically inspect your goods before shipment. In many cases, the price I negotiate + my commission is still lower than the price you would get on your own, because factories know how to quote “foreigner prices.”

Typically, commission is paid after the order is confirmed and the deposit is paid, or upon successful shipment. For new clients, we usually agree on a 50% deposit on commission upon order confirmation, and the remaining 50% after the final inspection is passed and before shipment. For long-term partners, we can arrange monthly or per-shipment invoicing.
